Blues Deep

Blues Deep

And so I leap,
To feel the wind in my bones,
To feel the momentum of my life,

And upon crashing into the glistening water,
On a early summer morning,
I long for the waves,
To wash my troubles asunder,
To cast away my sins, if only for a moment.

In the lonely deep blue,
All I am, all I long to be,
Is free.
