Forever and Ever More

Forever and Ever More

A friendship that stood the test of time,
A brotherhood that survived a continental divide,
From the sultry Savannahs, across the Kenyan plains,
To the icy winters, across Canadian States.
And so how long have I known Clemon?
Forever and Ever more!

From a plump, shy baby,
To a towering, kind man.
From the days he would say "Maybe?"
To the days he declared, "Yes, I can!"
And so how long have I known Clemon?
Forever and Ever more!

From kicking tattered balls on Kileleshwa streets,
To your memorable basement, where friends would love to meet,
From late night calls discussing love, longing and all of life's mystery,
To finally finding love in the shape of a woman named Litty.
And so how long have I known Clemon?
Forever and Ever more!

From the Bachelor life in beautiful Vancouver,
To a married life full of hope and splendor,
From a crying child, in his sweet mother's arms,
To kids of his own one day, playing in his backyard.
And so how long have I known Clemon?
Forever and Ever more!

Forever and ever more, let love shine it's humble light,
And engulf their marriage with courage and might,
And just like their parents and ancestors before,
We wish Clemon and Litty to be happily married,
Forever and ever more!
