I Love You

As sure as the sun shines upon the land,
As sure as the waves crash upon the land,
As sure as the endless ticking of a clock's hand,
I know that I Love You.
As sure as the blackbird sings in the dead of night,
As sure as the bell rings to tell of light,
As sure as the honeybee stings and later dies,
I know that I Love You.
As sure as a baby's wail upon its birth,
As sure as gravity pull's you to the Earth,
As sure as a man who knows his worth,
I know that I Love You.
As sure as I write to fulfill my own soul,
As sure as I regret wonderful stories untold,
As sure as I love to fill that heart-shaped hole,
I know that I Love You.
I,
I know,
I know that I love,
I know that I Love You.
