A live poetry booth for your event works on so many different levels; interpersonal, experiential and permanent, just to name a few. It creates a space for candid, beautiful conversation and a creative endeavour that will make your event stand out and memorable. Specifics:

• How it works - I talk to the guest(s) for a few minutes and based on what they share I create a personalized poem and type it out on the typewriter. It could be for them, for a loved one, or just a general feeling or emotion. There is no horizon or limit to what a poem can be for, which is what makes it unique and beautiful.

• Cost - Dependent on the size and duration of the event. Contact me for an exact quote. Typically within the $500 - $1000 range. Offers available for repeat bookings.

• Space Requirements - a small table (usually 4ft) and three chairs (one for me and two for the guests). No Power source required. I can also bring my own table and chairs if needed.

• Output - I can typically write 5 poems per hour. This can vary depending on the paper used and the theme of the poem. For a typical 3-5 hour event you can expect atleast 25 poems.

• Booking and Payment Policy - A 20% deposit is required to book the date. The rest is due on the week of the event.

• Cancellations and refunds - You can cancel atleast one week in advance for a full refund. If you cancel within one week of the event date, you forfeit the deposit.
